      活性氧(ROS)导致的精子功能障碍是引起男性不育症的1个重要原因,但目前已有的治疗方案并未显著改变男性不育症的现状。藻类提取物中的多糖、虾青素、β-胡萝卜素、酚类化合物等多种活性物质已被证明具有抗氧化活性,且海藻类药物具有高效、无毒、质优、价廉等优势。因此,研究藻类提取物的抗氧化活性与提高精子活性的机制,探究以海藻类药物治疗男性不育症将成为新的研究热点,有很大的开发应用潜力。本文在阐述氧化应激在男性不育症发病机制及治疗中的作用的基础上,对藻类提取物中具有抗氧化活性的化合物的种类与特征及其在男性不育症治疗中的潜在运用价值进行了综述,以期为男性不育症药物的研发提供参考。
English Summary:
      Sperm dysfunction caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS) is an important reason of male infertility. However, the current therapeutic treatments have not significantly improved the current situation of male infertility. The bioactive compounds such as polysaccharides, astaxanthin, β-carotene, and phenolic compounds extracted from algae have been proved to have antioxidant activity, and as seaweed drugs they have the advantages of high efficiency, non-toxic, high quality and low price. Therefore, study on the antioxidant activity of algal bioactive compounds, the mechanism of improving sperm activity, and the exploration on the therapeutic functions of male infertility with algal drugs will become a research focus with great development and application potential. In the present paper, the role of oxidative stress in the pathogenesis and treatment of male infertility were introduced, followed by the review on the kinds and characteristics of antioxidative compounds in algal extracts and their potential therapeutic value in male infertility. This review paper provides a reference for the research and development of male infertility drugs.
