| The
metachromasia of polysaccharide from Porphyra tenear Kjellm with azure I has been studied
in this paper.It is discovered that the polysaccharide can produce metachromasia with
azure I,that is the typical property of acidic mucopolysaccharide.Compared with
heparin,the wave-lenght of the light absorbed by the metachromatic compound of the
polysaccharide and azure I is longer,is 530 nm,and the stability of the metachromatic
compound is less. |
